Not a bag jacket for the price. The Amazon photos sums up the appearance of the jacket because it's a waistline wool blend coat. You can wear it on those 30 to 40 degree days and you should be fine if you layer it with a sweater. I'm 5'10 - 180 pounds and I bought the Large and it fits perfectly. The medium IMHO would've been tight on me personally. Not bad so I recommend, especially if you like to look stylish when it gets cold outside.

Sleeves and waist are perfect length, but it's a little bit tight in the shoulders when I lift my arms. I'd try an XXL, but I don't want to lose the sleeve length. Your call, but that' my experience. Overall, glad I bought it!

Much heavier than I expected it to be. The wool is soft, but slightly different than many of my other coats. The bib is not detachable, its sewn in. The material is very thick, it will be hard to wear out. But the coat is physically very heavy, that will not be for everyone. I am very happy with it, I have more than one and the colors are consistent with the pictures.
